It's like you've self induced the rattled mechanic and kept the HB and FB in to block.

Backfield routes that don't cross the LOS are just garbage. You can cull 2/3 of the entire passing playbook just based on that one rule alone. Can't afford to risk your QB targeting one of those terrible routes when the HB isn't held in to block. They're a wasted down at best. It's usually much worse though and you catch it for a TFL.

That play isn't in there for the FB/HB route obviously.

On the bright side. Shitty chem picking up. Alaska and Air Raid both out of the way. Still a lot of winnable games out there to be had and still top 10.

Well after spamming Over Smoke, I went with Cloud to try and avoid his chem issues. What it really shows is how much the Chem hit is even in the high 50s (combined with the AR game).

gg air raid -- was not looking good after that start (air raid gets ball scores TD / kicks off forces and recovers fumble / scores again for a 14-0 lead).

But we were able to grind it back. Props to maddencoach for a good game plan on both sides of the ball.

Yeah after that start I thought Air Raid might have a shot, but it was all downhill from there. Only 1 punt and 42 minutes time of possession is hard to overcome.

that happened to Hub in the last ladder game of last season. Sons of Anarchy for some reason just kept on converting on 3rd and short despite the fact that we were spamming MO. Just couldn't stop it consistently. Still held them to 3, but it's frustrating as hell to watch.

Still didn't get that #1 spot though. But I don't know anyone that would dispute you guys as the current top team in the game.

as for "anyone that would dispute it" -- I'll go out on a limb and say in spite of the last game, MMA certainly expects to beat us 2 times this season still.

Looks to have gone about how one would expect.

Air Raid can be the best team in the game but unable to beat the Stunners. Those two events aren't mutually exclusive. Stuff like that doesn't happen often, but isn't unheard of.
