It's not that I couldn't change plays with Air Raid. I certainly could try and combat quarters teams by running more shallow crossing stuff or such.
I just operate under the philosophy that you should run plays for which your offense is built, not plays that the defense dictates.
We're built to stretch the field. So we do that. Most of our plays have clear out routes and/or the HB to give us underneath options. These are tough to cover with the mobility on our WRs.
I haven't watched an assassins game yet, but probably will this week sometime. Excited to see what improvements the next generation of this idea has made
