btw, Akeem "The Dream Jordan" and Cleveland Brown are tied for number of times finishing at #1 in HoF (three each, Cleveland on offense, Akeem on defense)

Cleveland would break that tie if he gets his 4th this season.

Ringin has 4 as well

good catch... i somehow missed that... probably because I didn't do glb2 til S2 and was then a season behind S1 teams

I don't see anyone ever again getting 4x #1 HoF on defense

Yup. We've had a string of really mediocre games of late. We should have lost to new York in the resim of the league game today.

I dunno if its the nerfs or folks just finally putting together adequate defenses.

It's been much harder to score this season when teams run the correct plays on DD1. If I try to spam TE Drive and TE Post which I do a lot I've been getting slowed down pretty good. I'm going ot have to start mixing it up it looks like.

The screen game has helped us with stat padding against the scrub teams. Our two screen plays are averaging 18 and 19 yards per attempt on the season. I've been trying to maximize the offensive output every game just to see if I could get Saul to pass Cleveland.

And looking at rookie and especially sophemore, passing is still the shit if done right. Dont see a Big change there with the super Hard nerfs

might not have been a re-sim. It didn't finish until about 24 hours after it started though.

Which is why I'm thinking maybe folks are just dong a better job calling defenses. I mean, the nerfs obviously have to have impacted us negatively somewhat at least. We're having games at sub 50% completions now... and that hadn't happened in over 2 seasons. Explaining it is probably a lil all-o-the-above (chemistry, nerfs, better defenses).

We may get to 100 chemistry and be just as nasty as we were the last two seasons for all I know at this point.

If that's true though, it's going to fuel my hatred of chemistry as a game mechanic further. Why the hell should I have to watch a half season of crap, and why should my player agents have to do the same? The arguments FOR chemistry just aren't that strong. Or, at the very least taking a chem hit for offseason moves. I get the desire to prevent rosters from being interchangeable during a season.

They bumped up chemistry to 50 for offseason moves, which was a welcome addition. Maybe the next step is increasing the amount gained per game.

maybe I need to make a last push to get Akeem his 4th #1 HoF, since Cleveland is fading... He's within range

would be cool to have the only player with 4 #1 HoFs. Unfortunately, a DE on our same team may C@!*-block him, since he's at #1 right now (Chipper Seymour)

Should be 50 for offseason moves, 0 for regular season moves. +10 chem per day. That way it would take 10 days to recover if you made any regular season moves. Which at worst is 7 games of sub 100 chem. That seems rather reasonable considering I have played 11 games this season so far with guys starting at 50 chem and many of them haven't even hit 80 chemistry yet.

I suggest you suggest that.
