Sounds like we already won...

Ah, you misquote me!
First, duh, you're the favorites! You're undefeated, have a higher ranking, have the higher raw roster rating, etc. We're the underdog, and I'm happily embracing that role. We know this is the hardest test we'll have until the playoffs, and I'm prepared for it.
Second, I never said I'd be "happy with making an impression". I'd stew over only "making an impression" the rest of the season if that's the very least I could do. I said I could live with myself if we left everything we had on the field and played to the level which we're capable. I don't see how in the blue blazes that means I'd be "happy" with it.

This game's going to be a 4-quarter fight. If you think you've already got this game won, then you're going to be more than a little surprised tomorrow.

We did, and it's a stupid lack of foresight on my behalf.

You're dead on with that, it's not going to help my cause. But Tongan men make no excuses

If we fall short tomorrow, it's because you all were the superior team.

Yeah, we live and learn. It should be fine for the playoffs, though. Defense may need some work, but the offense should be solid then.

Man, I'm looking forward to it as well. I tell you, whenever I get pumped, I do things like this:

Coming up next, OBS Sports presents: Oceania Football!

It's called the Outback Bowl, and traditionally, it is THE toughest place to play in all of Oceania AA. For opponents, it has been a virtual den of destruction, a place from which none have emerged with victory. For Melbourne, there is no letting up, and today they're out to continue their AA-2 dominance of the year, and slamdance yet another opponent.

10 straight times Tonga has suited up for battle, and 10 straight times they've been victorious. But lately, under their coaching staff, the Thunderbirds have become a legitimate league contender. They're now 10-1, and their dream is to slay the Devil in his own backyard, and move in on a possible first league title.

Today, it's a Zeta showdown. Tonga visits Melbourne, coming up next!

Thank you all! It was a blast making it. I tell you, I miss those openings. Reminded me of some of the great players in our program too: 1989 was our only 10-win season, and our first ACC title (we shared it with freaking Duke, of all teams).
I'd be willing to make a "Zeta Playoff Picture", starting tonight, if you all would like!

Nearly 3 1/2 hours until the big game. We've done the last bit of tweaking, and we're ready to go! Getting the butterflies already.

GG Tonga - your offense was pretty potent, scoring the most points on us, busting in the first rushing TD as well, but your D couldn't hold down the relentless attack from play 1.

Happy to get that one in the books, and I'm sure you guys are itching for a rematch.
