I stand corrected, Stobie's WR got 6 more points of CiT.

Most of ours were capped before, and it appears only Shorty Toney(Stobie's S*) has spent his so far. If you'd invested up to CiT cap before, it looks like it works out to where you gain enough SPs to be able to buy a little over half of the new cap space in CiT.

Obviously, you don't have to spend it on CiT if you'd rather go elsewhere with the new SPs.

5-6 CiT gain is probably about right at any level, so long as you'd invested to whatever cap you had before.

Again, assuming you decide to spend those on CiT. Maybe you had a bad heart deficiency before and decided instead of 15 heart, maybe you should've gone to 30.

ya - nice if you're passing -- but not game breaking (imo)

in fact - it is a real pisser for vet players that they don't get to cap it...when they otherwise would have if the bug had been fixed several seasons ago

If it works out to ~0.5% more completions per game, it'll basically make up for what we lost in the recent INT buff/HF nerf.

At this point, I basically boil games down to how many drives we fail. We're good for 2-4 failed drives per game against tough competition. Whether by turnover, incomplete sailed passes, untimely drops, or the occasional defense forced a punt scenario.

I'll be surprised if this bugfix is enough to move the needle noticeably in that regard.

Exactly. Now I have 10 points on CiT available on my Vet WR that could have changed how the build evolved.

One: It only effects S* so far. But then again what are most Tier 2 S*? WR and TE right?

Two: It's a 10 point raise to the cap. It's 5-6 point gain for most Vets (I guess), but Seasoned Belgarion went from 56 to 63 (+7) in one day and will hit cap within a few games.

Three: Yes the points could be used in other areas, but the most effective place to use them is in CiT. Again, it's all about parabolic values vs. linear costs. (I should make this my new sig.)

Fourth: Timing of fix may be bad because playoffs are near, but since this has been a 8+ season bug (since game inception), I don't think any heavy running team over the past multiple seasons should be complaining about one upcoming playoff season. It's not ideal and I stated earlier that they should group up fixes based on gameplay, but it's been a negative for 8 playoff seasons and "normal" for the upcoming one.

All you need to do is respec in the offseason. It only gives you a final season of points but doubtful that impacts you at all since most people max CIT as one of their first skills.

I was able to take my S* WR from 67 to 73 with the SP refund we got plus I was able to add 1-2 points to other skills.

I just wish they would make more mid season adjustments and tell people like you to fuck off so that the game actually progresses.
