I say 30, because passing offenses can throw the ball 20 yards, then the WR gets tackled. Run offenses can run a sweep play and run the length of the field.

In general run O's require less to do well.

From the Boys vs. Beers info above, 30+ is where the separation really starts with rushing vs. passing.

The number of 20-29 yards plays is Beers: 141 vs. Boys 115.

Then it goes 5x to 1 or higher.

And im assuming you have a better way to compare a team that has about 20 more plays a game. Simply put ground assault being a rushing offense is going to use more clock per drive than a full passing offense, and thus its going to give the passing team more chances to pile on stats and points. Sure maybe if i ran some cheese outside spam wed be able to keep up but i prefer to run a legit all rushing offense.

You run outside over 50% of the time, that is cheese. Also, the Stunners haven't had a problem putting up more yards and points than passing teams...

outside of 3rd downs its 49% inside and 51% outside which is even more balanced than all madden at 44% inside to 56% outside including 3rd downs ground assault is still 45% to 55% compared to maddens 43% to 57%

edit: when you remove the games where we have had to play a tier up the ratio is 51% to 49% favoring inside rushing so there's that

also its easy to do it when you only have played 3 legit teams all season not to mention the 1.5k and 255 they got off a cpu team.

I'm going to keep posting these just for fun. Obviously there are better ways to find who runs the best and most efficient offenses, but I'm not going to take the time to figure that out. For now going with total yards.

i appreciate the work you do its fun to see these, i just wanted to reinforce that just because someone doesn't show up on the list that it doesn't mean their not a good offense. I'll probably post some efficiency stuff when i have time to compliment this.

lmao so when you are playing a team without a pulse you are willing to run up the middle but you resort to cheese(as you called it) when you actually have to make an effort?

I mean if you really want to define "big plays" as the NFL does, it's 10 for running and 25 for passing.

The larger number you choose, running teams will always come ahead. Rushing always has a higher chance at a homerun play, but passing in general is more unstoppable.

No i was referring to the fact that stunners only have as many yards and points as they have cause outside of 3 teams its been nothing but cupcakes. And the only reason my outside goes up is because they are 1-2 tiers higher and therefore more 3rd and longs which triggers more outside runs to get the yards that an inside run isnt likely to get. Its like calling a deep pass when its 3rd and long. I dont need to cheese to beat teams, beat default running 62% inside and north texas 68% to give examples. Its a dynamic tactics set designed to punish teams who overcommit to either the inside or out so hell yea ill be running like 80% to the outside if you try clogging the inside and ill just as much run 80% inside if you try to spam wide dogs or edge buzz.
