It's been that way for a while. Even with an inactive owner, any of the coaches on the team can insert playbook/tactics. The only thing that gets overridden is the depth chart.

I'll give you the Minnesota game... holding them to 21 was impressive. Salty is a very good defense, but not clearly the best as many like to believe IMO.

We've got our pluses and minuses like everyone else, some teams like yours will destroy us every time, and some we can shut down pretty easily.

That part that shocked me is that you don't know why, it's really obvious to me.
