Ugh, good game Ground Assault. I knew the offense would be really tough, but didn't want to abandon the run game. Generally pleased with what I did in that area, but I'd make a few changes. Wouldn't change it a whole lot, but any extra yards help.
The passing playbook needs a bit of work against you, that d-line is too good. 5 spin cycles coming at you is hazardous to the QB moral. 15 hurries on 40 attempts? Yeesh. I had one 2TE set where both were kept in because of the Rattled mechanic. That's brutal.
As for my defense, big let down. I still have some holes that I haven't figured out how to plug. I think I have to abandon 4-3 Man DE Flats. Seems like the vision checks are much harder to pass in that formation than other Man formations. And the pathing on some of the defenders is weird, they'll run in the opposite direction from what any other offensive player is doing. I don't know if that play just requires way more awareness for vision checks or what, but it simply wasn't working.
Also unsure what happened on this play with the SS. Man Base, SS starts off making the right read and could stop the RB for 2-3 yard gain...but then ran past him as if he was blitzing? But it was Man Base? So confused.
