Something I just noticed. League MVPs and HOF rankings are measured differently. In my league (Emerald), Vader is not in the top ten of defensive MVP but Fabien Barthez is ranked 8th.

In the sophomore, LB HOF, Vader is ranked 28 and Fabien Barthez is ranked 31.

i thought would be obvious. LEague MVP are calculated on just league games. HOF standings are calculated against league and ladder games

plus i think it is calculated right

Looks like my safety kappas was the player of the game in this matchup... hardly even knew Vader was on the field... he did have 8 tackles, but I guess someone has got to get a tackle when a qb completes 70% of his passes. Vader is not a playmaker... just a beneficiary of the zone system.

Psssht! My SS is 7th in overall journeyman defensive HOF and he doesn't have a single sack. No excuses!

Once LOLSacks go out the door, Vader will be at the top of the HOF. His goal is to have the most tackles of all time for a LB.

If that is at the risk of allowing receptions all game I welcome him to have a 100 tackles in our games.

He'll get plenty of PDs and KLs too.

that's a meaningless stat in real football and it's even more meaningless in glb2

Maybe he takes pride in his defense having one guy that's in a good spot to do something other than suck...

Ahhh yeahhhh....Vader just took over sole possession of 1st place for INTs in the Emerald League. He now leads the league in PD, KL and INT and is 4th in tackles and tied for 5th in FFum...yet still can't break the top 10 for Def MVP.
