My FB is half blocking and half receiving, the receiving side doesn't work at all because there are no custom read progressions in GLB2 like there were in GLB1: the FB gets read at the end of the progression on most routes, so he almost never gets thrown to unless something weird happens, like tons of pressure causing a quick read to fire, the QB is just too dumb to try throwing to him, even when he's wide open.
Galithor nailed it, though, only a very small number of passes are actually viable at the highest level right now, and the WR routes just aren't that great for a lot of the 2 WR plays unfortunately, most of the good ones are 3WR/4WR. This could also be solved by custom read progressions in theory, some plays have good WR routes but aren't viable because they are too late in the default progression.
My guy isn't all-out receiving, he doesn't have head fake for instance, so maybe somebody else out there has gotten it to work, but I also agree with the comment that it's important to be a run blocking threat too and am not willing to try going all the way unless the game changes significantly.
