They won't really be demoralizing anything because they will be gaining morale from running right down your throat.

Doesn't necessarily mean good run defense -- could just as well be people saying "oooh, a zone defense...time to pass!"

Similar phenomenon can happen to teams who blow a lot of other teams out -- they force 'trailing' offenses to kick in early - resulting in high number of passes -- resulting in the appearance of a poor passing defense

Of the top 25 teams that I keep for my power rankings, that zone pass Defense is so bad it's 23 out of the 25 in TOTAL defense. The #25 ranked Pass Defense is over 800 yards worse than the #24 guy ... (#24-5700yds vs #25-6500yds). Thats like 2-3 games!

Don't ignore this.

Nothing wrong with a Power DLineman beating up on the OLine, but you should combine him with a high Tech guy who can break the those run blocks.
