I'd be interested in seeing how well an end build fully fleshed out Zone defense does at pro/vet level. It seems like it won't work but who knows.

It's not like man defenses do much stopping at that level anyway, those higher level games seem to be much more high scoring in general. Maybe the increase in INTs and/or KLs will be more dramatic than we envision once those guys all have a couple gold SAs.

The only way to buff zone is to nerf man.

No changes to zone will make it beat 100% coverage on 100% of receivers at all times.

But zone can be better against the run than man. Its the same in real life. I think thats the route wed have to take with zone here. Maybe the trade off being like zone is 80% as efficient in pass coverage as man but man is 80% as effcient at run defense. Might be the best way to balance it.
