That is why you see very few DC's in GLB1. The AI is a million inputs long.

FWIW i never suggested mass ability to substitute players - I only said that the goal line playset creates an interesting mini-game

I understand you guys want a simpler game with fewer options and easier play selection - that may well be the best financial model as well.

the less you can influence things directly the less satisfying the game is for certain kinds of players (like me) but that doesn't mean those players are 'right'

i'm quite prepared for another nerf fest to satisfy the peeti/bhalls of the game world - MO and GL and so forth until the next best play is found of course.

hey I am prepared for a completely new game of GLB1, but if that is the direction we are heading they may as well just combine the games and put some hard thought into making the AI's easier for people to put together because currently in GLB1 that is a huge mess and introducing new offensive formations to the game is pretty much impossible as it only creates 10+ more inputs for DC's to have to put in their AI.

And I have never wanted nerfs to plays. MO I just want to run like its drawn up. GL I just wanted better plays to deal with it because the current plays are mostly shit.

More than a million. And if god forbid something happens and you lose your playbooks you're just fucked.

Hasn't this been an option since day 1?

There was always a GL depth chart and you could always put an RQB in for GL formation plays and a PQB for the rest.

However, the D has the ability to specifically react to a GL formation and they know that there aren't any passing plays, so I'm not sure how the D is inconvenienced in anyway from this. It has always been there iirc.

And if something happens in the future, it will likely be adding the GL-only positions to the standard depth chart and nuking the GL depth chart.

I don't really know why this wasn't always the case.

No it would still use both QB's.

Yeah, but wasn't that a bug? I mean, if you are going to have a GL depth chart, if the GL plays still draw players from the other depth chart, wasn't THAT the bug?

Obviously the correct fix would be to either eliminate the GL depth chart or to only include the positions that actually draw from that depth chart.

Not in terms of the QB i would think as it was said in S1 that this is not wanted
