I love when people say something is wrong with my 100% factually correct posts.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt here because English isn't your first language, but yes, you do in fact spam a lot of 4 WR's Unders, you do so more than Yorick ran QB Rollout, and everyone is catching on to that (and starting to do it themselves).

Now, if I wanted to be mean, instead of calling it a coin flip game, I could have ripped into you for calling a play that you know exploits the currently broken coverage, but because I don't want 4 WR Unders nerfed, I just want coverage fixed, I let that part slide the first time.

Wait. Are you suggesting y'all don't spam 4 WR Unders?

In just the last game we played, 28 of your 66 pass attempts were 4 WR Unders. And we both know the entire reason you spam it is because WR3 breaks to the outside at roughly the same point where the average CB is making that very broken turn to the inside.

And again, it's a broken defense, not an offensive play that needs nerfed, that is the problem.

4 WR Unders is only a problem if you refuse to use Cover 2 Shell. The completion % to those deep routes into double coverage is absurdly low.

Yeah don't know why people are complaining about that play. Fell out of fashion at the end of last season tbh.

Cover 2 or Man Base out of the Dime set work great on it...you still get your occasional completion into double coverage but its a low enough percentage to stop a drive.

Alas.

Oh, and joy of joys, Yorick gets to play Victorious Not Secret Because Everyone Knows They Spam 4WR Unders More Than Yorick Ever Used QB Rollout Strong for the fourth time. It's a coin flip game because neither defense can really shut down the other team's offense so it's just who gets RNG at the best times.

I'll make y'all a deal tho. I'll actually attempt a pass if you promise to run 2 WR's a few times

Victoria - WR Under - 28 times
Yorick - GL QB Rollout Strong - 27 times

but but but there is a ton of QB Rollouts that are better than GL QB Rollout now

Because it's the play that best highlights how coverage is currently broken.

By chance, WR3 makes his cut to the outside at the point where most DB's are transitioning from backpedal to sprint. Since CB3 always turns to the inside while the WR cuts to the outside, there is always separation.

Gal mentioned Cover 2's for double coverage, except there is no such thing as actual double coverage in GLB2. On top of that, in this specific case what you end up with is the FS about 2 yards deeper than the WR and CB3 off wherever they ended up after the turn. Sometimes this works okay, espec with low Pass Power QB's as the FS has time to make a play, but usually what happens is that WR3 catches the ball and then the FS makes the tackle.

It looks a lot like this:

And yes, 2 Man Mike Fire is a cover 2 defense with both safeties playing deep zones and only 4 pass rushers. 'Tis why I rolled my eyes when I read Gal's supposed solution

Awesome plan running those CBs with terrible builds on Medium contracts.

Exactly.

Don't blame me for the sim's streaky random numbers. If I had my way, I'd force the thing to alternate between QB and HB runs so that I don't burn up my QB's legs, and I'd never run the same QB run twice in a row. In fact, my outside run page of my playbook is split 3 and 3 between HB and QB.

I love when Xavori post his "100% factual posts"

A quick look to see if it is in correct a fact that Victoria runs WR Under more than Yorick runs GL QB Rollout Strong

In the 3 games they have played this season here is the breakdown:

Victoria 4 WR Under: 34 times in 3 Games
Yorick GL QB Rollout Strong: 70 times in 3 Games

So, what's my CB's build look like? I mean, obviously you know, right?

And contracts? That's what you're going with? I should be pouring money into CB's even though I know coverage is broken rather than using my high contracts to get chemistry build up on guys who joined this season?

Oh, and just for giggles, maybe you'd like to explain why your awesome, amazing, and obviously better than mine CB couldn't cover an out route either?

You're so desperate to troll that I'm pretty sure if I posted how useful it was for humans to breathe, you'd be passed out 30 seconds later...

How is it trolling when I refuse to let you post your 100% inaccurate posts over and over?

I love the fact that you posted my CB who finished with a 50% completion rate against him for that game vs the #1 passing attack in Journeyman.

For a further breakdown, that guy is allowing a 42.7% completion rate on the season with 31 PDs and 2 INTs.
Your CB on the other hand is allowing a 59.3% completion rate on the season with 8 PDs.

Carry on scrub.

I posted a CB getting beat on an out route. Just because the journeyman OC's are slow to adapt to the current meta doesn't mean your CB is any better than any one else's at covering them. In fact, if he's as awesome as you say he is (and I'm actually completely willing to take your word for it), then the fact he got beaten so badly in that play should be even stronger evidence that coverage against out routes is broken.

Oh, as for my CB...I play a bunch of zone which doesn't get recorded properly. Add in the fact that sophomore QB's are in fact throwing a lot more out routes which means when he is in man, it's more likely a catch, and you have completely irrelevant stats for judging him.
