Hey - whatever bro. Lebron may be a champ, but he is no championship leader like Byrd, Jordan, Thomas. Those players had the ability to make players around them better. Lebron has never shown that ability.

haha WHAT?!? That's what he is known for, not selfish ball like Jordan...you have no clue what you are talking about. People knock him for NOT being more selfish, not for being incapable of making others better.

You aren't even spelling Birds name right, and you know that he lost multiple championships right??? lol this kid

LeBron showed flashes of dominance during the series. Exploding for 20 points in the 3rd quarter of game 4, and 20+ in the first quarter of game 5. Was it the Spurs defense adjusting to stop him, or was something else that caused him not to play like that the whole game?

Lebron is already one of the best of all-time and he gets an undue amount of criticism. One of his best attributes is his unselfishness and ability to facilitate the players around him. This is a double-edged sword though. When his teammates are playing like crap, like they did this series, I wish he would be more aggressive and take the game over. He is a beast and one of the best finishers around the basket in the league. I wanted him to attack the rim more and not only get more points, but draw fouls. It probably wouldn't have mattered though, because the Spurs just had more good players and a better team.

absolutely agree...his team failed him BIGTIME this series, the only one that played like they belonged in the league was Bosh, all other starters/bench disappeared (wade, chalmers, ray ray, birdman, etc etc.)

Sounds like maybe I do know what I'm talking about after all. You would have to be clueless to claim Lebron is selfish, or that he himself is not arguably the best all around baller in the league today and possibly ever. But as you yourself have just stated his team didn't show up. And rob is right - when his team was faltering he should have tried to take over the game himself. There were so many times I was sure he was just going to run through Parker and he didn't - he just passed off.

Maybe I should amend that to say he hasn't shown the ability to elevate his teammates when they are facing adversity in games that really matter. But that could be more on his teammates than him.

Maybe he will come to the Pistons and help them lose a championship. That would be a huge step up from where we are at now.
