Would be nice to put an active oc and dc for each all star team. Also releasing rosters early so they can game plan could work.

Meanwhile, my Venus league Special Teams MVP returner didn't make the all star game.

My #1 HoF returner didn't make the Cougar league game, but my HB filled in for him...

Okay, now I have an actual complaint about how players are picked for this game.

My kicker was the most accurate in Eris League. He kicked 18 of 23 (78.3%) of his FG's, and those 18 FG's are the most of any kicker in the league. He kicked 69 of 73 (94.5%) of his extra points.

He was passed over for a kicker who made 6 of 9 FG's (66.7%) and 48 of 52 (92.3%) of his extra points.

In short, a kicker who made a lot fewer kicks and had lower accuracy all around got in.

I think they put too much weight on kickoff average. My kickoff specialist with 0 field goals made it.

and my RBs did better than Hawaiis... hmm... maybe my RBs AREN'T built horribly. Hard to tell from one game...

maybe the difference in the offensive lines is bigger than I thought

If they played with real AIs it'd make the players actually matter, pretty disappointing hype, shoulda been tier-wide players and input AIs.

I think our whole o-line was in that game though which was pretty cool.

If they played with "real AIs", how would they pick coordinators, without making people incredibly butthurt? It pretty much had to be "default" game-set AI. Unfortunately, this misuse some players, for the majority of leagues, this set up let players play effectively while including a large portion of the game in the feature.

Tier-wide players would make it incredibly narrow in focus. With league games, pretty much everybody decent at the game has 1 or 2 players in an all star game, while one game per tier would make it so that a total of probably 60 people (in the entire game) would have a reason to care.

I don't know if anyone's said it but:
Coaching staff of 3rd place team gets control over one, coaching staff of 4th place team gets control over the other. Just like the pro bowl.

edit: Add it to record tally under respective coaching position and maybe add a new category 'Superstar Games:' or something that at least adds incentive to care about it.

Why not have one all star team from each league and have a single elimination tournament? There are only 11 seasoned teams, so you could have 4 rounds. Or you could have 2 teams from each league (22) and have 5 rounds.

I think it could have been better, should give the 2 Championship game coaches a time frame to input tactics. I watched the first few plays and saw that the defense was running zone and just hit box score after that.

Your guy must suck at kick offs then.
