So you're the real victim here.

I see a bright future ahead of you in insurance and financial services.

G'night, chump.

Really, the answer here can only be taking his team to CPU and giving him a half-season timeout to let his ego deflate a little. There is no way this guy didn't know what was going on, which is why I suggested examining chat or emails in the first place. Anything less is a gigantic slap in the face to those of us who paid to play fair.

The mods have made it clear they aren't going to do that, so I offered a solution that Sean Payton should happily accept, since he's the real victim here.

OK, there's a simple solution. Cut the 21 players on the roster that are still part of the multi issue, and replace them with CPU players or your own dots. Your season will still be tainted by Roger31's actions, obviously, but that would give you a legitimate team going forward.

Thanks man, glad someone can actually see what happened here. I've been released those banned pricks and creating players to replace them. I've also been trying to recruit a few to help offset creating all the players.

You need to understand that you have been tainted by the actions of Roger31 (or whatever his name was). The only way to remove the taint is by explaining your point of view and behaving in an honorable manner going forward. I think most could see you were not part of the multi but you did allow it on your team. Just cut all those remaining players who last logged in on 9 Apr 02:35 to 02:45 or around that. When you came onto the forums blasting those who were unhappy with the cheating you did not help yourself.

Where can I see when someone last logged on?

Everyone on here jumped to conclusions without knowing any facts. I read through the crap and came out swinging, which probably wasn't right, but it's too late, what's said is said. I'm still not happy how people in this league handled it. I never once got a message asking what was going on, the only messages I got were f-bumb littered tirades.

No one is confusing you with roger31. The problem is that you AT BEST were willfully ignorant of situation in which you materially benefited. Here on Planet Grownup, that's not a valid defense.

So, recruiting. We all do it, we all hate it. That alone is why I paid for most of my roster. You hire this roger31 guy and suddenly the roster gets populated by single accounts with no history and no posting in the forum. A guy who likes winning, as clearly you do, would naturally want to know how much GLB2 experience these apparent noobs have. You might be concerned that half of them would go inactive. You'd be encouraging a very active forum because you would want everyone on the same page.

You would have known very quickly what actually happened. As would I have, or any owner in GLB. But you didn't care, because hey, your roster got filled.

So please spare us the smugness, the victim act and false contrition. It's as empty as the title you will win.

Enjoy that in the empty room GLB2 wil soon become.

If you went to a restaurant and ordered a Hamburger but instead were served a rat on a bun, I can imagine you would be pissed. Who would you hold accountable? The answer is quite simple, the owner of the restaurant. Even if he wasn't on premise that evening you would still feel the owner is to blame. So let's say you call the owner and complain about the event and the owner responds by calling you a f*cktard, being belligerent and claiming that he cannot see what the staff does at all times. Would you accept it? Absolutely not.

That is no different than what has happened here.

I appreciate that the problem is being addressed. Looking this morning it appears that only 8 of the original free accts are still on the roster. Hopefully they will go away today and this matter can come to a close. Own the problem, fix the problem and I think you will see that it goes a long way towards lessening the negative effects of the incident.

As for the games already played, I think everyone else needs to understand that nothing will happen. You don't have to like it but programmatically I imagine it would be very hard to alter the results without also messing up other dependent code. The TOS does not describe that the this action would take place so we shouldn't expect it. It is a giant sh*t sandwich and we all get to enjoy it.

Yeah, I fell asleep replacing the players. I'm finishing it up this morning. Glad I was able to recruit a few people to help out.

I used to enjoy recruiting, in fact that is the mod position that I held back from 2009-2010. It's one of the best and most frustrating parts of the game, but it does take time and that is something I didn't have.

Just go to roster tab and hover the mouse over the red/green light thingy under the agent column. If they are online it will be green, if offline it will be red and show the last time they were online. It can also show inactive.

Thanks. I've been clicking on the agent, then going to GLB1 to see when they were last active, this seems much easier.

Don't think you need to ask forgiveness. The problem has been fixed now. The team has legitimate players from legitimate agents. Had a little tact been applied a few posts back, this thread would probably have been about half as long.
