Actually, they aren't.

Six was only 3 in the US, it was actually the 6th installment of Final Fantasy.

Final Fantasy 3 was an entirely different game.

being I live in the US, and the game said 3 on it, i'll stick with 3....but I know what you are talking about

The actual game called Final Fantasy 3, by the way, sucks. Complete and utter crap.

4 (sometimes called 2) is good, but grindy and has no party flexability. 5 is a great game (originally not released here, but now available for mobile devices) with a really fun job system.

Seriously, once I had those the game became a total snooze fest. I mean, who needs tactics when you're just obliterating everything you fight.

While tactics is a great game, we did mention the greatest of all time, FF3/6
