There are two very easy solutions to the problem.

1. Allow multiple season contracts

or

2. You can let players tick a box that says that they will automatically accept any offer from their current team even if they are inactive when the contract offer goes out.

Wow, there are no teams in GLB2. I have players available and no one is signing them. I signed them with CPU team finally today. This is terrible and a waste of money!

3rd year CB - http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/12287
2nd Year FS - http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/53161

both of them had to find CPU contracts becaseu they didnt get one single hit in the marketplace.

Unless your job is exploring deepest Africa, Australian Outback Nature Guide, or searching the Indian Ocean for missing Dreamliners, I have a hard time conceiving of a life in which you are simply "too busy" to stop by a website every couple of days.

I almost included Antarctic Researcher and International Space Station pilot, but then I remembered they have internet access.

See my job is to explore the deepest African outback for missing dreamliners.

Ya multiple season contracts would solve a load of problems, especially with the superstars playing in odd leagues. You could then sign a superstar to multiple seasons and not worry about cutting someone later on as you would know exactly how far over the cap that would put you.

Also what if you don't get played, you are stuck in a 2 year deal with no playing time. That's 40% of the standard career.

And this is why they did 1 season deals.

Might help if players shared their builds....We need O-line help LSU but most of the builds are closed...

Also why play if your not going to boost....

If you care about that, you don't sign two year deals.

And how do you arrive at 40%? Players will have a plateau when they reach the stage where they are finished.

I still do not see the problem.

Or, more accurately, I do not see a problem that is the game's problem to fix.

If your lame ass agents have that much trouble logging in to a website at least once a week, cut them and get someone that can. They aren't committing to some 30 hour a week warcraft raid schedule... it's just 5 less minutes on imgur. Let's not even try to pretend you guys go whole weeks at a time without internet access.

The way browsers are set-up nowadays, you should be able to do everything at one, tab browsing, browsing of the future.

FWIW, I spend at least a month in Africa every year - usually in Northern Hemisphere winter though. I also take ~3 weeks somewhere else in summer. I don't spend a bunch on travel to fuck around on the internet when I am there.

and its not so much about the agents logging on to accept contracts for me....its about me being able to send out contracts as soon as I can so the agents have the time to see and accept....but no problem as I'll get someone else to do it if necessary....
