So, what, it would be fair to have the divisions be split Bruins, Providence vs Ball So Hard, OG vs Jebs, so that you can feel more interest in your division at the expense of Providence and Bruins competition for the regular season? Be honest, you'd still coast assuming you'd get the wild card at worst and you'd be in the same spot - you'll give 0 craps all season, make the playoffs, and lose out in the first round.

"Manual assignment" for 22 leagues isn't manageable, and that's only going to get worse as we get leagues all the way up to vet. Dividing up by ladder ranking mostly just decides which teams are in the easier divisions. And once you start getting into doing things by ladder rankings, you introduce manipulation of the system, which was obnoxious to deal with in GLB1 and I would prefer not to see it anywhere near GLB2.

I do completely see your side of it, and also don't have a problem with balancing out the divisions, if they are doing realignment, it should work to be more balanced.

You said it for me...

I figured you would have no problem with it but i have a problem with it. Jebs is sitting with a CPU and no game of real consequence until da playooofs

I've been chatting with another owner in Tiger and he said this exact thing. I approached it from the angle of Gamma being tough but the other divisions were easy. In all honesty, if my argument had been framed from the uncompetitive angle rather than the over-competitive angle I suspect more would've agreed.

Well, even if we won back to back we struggled hard this season. So even if we didnt have a Top 10 Team in our league, the league was more competitive than most others, as we were all middle ranked and basicly 8 Teams in the League were able to beat each other as it happened.

Im OK with MEM, but I dunno how he can be that arrogant coming into our league, lol

Well cakewalk probably wasn't a good term. But as far as competitiveness it's not nearly at the level of what Hawk was last season. Didn't mean to come off as cocky there

We were 7th and then hit a rut at the end of the season. Everything is being worked out this offseason so I fully expect us to be top 10 again at some point in S3

so in current scenario
div a - bruins, prov, og fight for 2 playoof seeds
div b - jebs coasts
div c - ball coasts

your scenario (or what i would want)
div a - bruins coast
div b - prov and ball fight for 1 spot and possible wild card
div c - og and jebs fight for 1 spot and possible wild card
maybe it's just me but i'd rather see this scenario

Except Ball isn't on the same level as the other 4 teams so bruins coast, prov coasts, og and jebs coast into division winner/wild card
I mean be honest, your league could be stacks with the top teams in the game and you'd still coast, you'd just lose more games

and then you would leave Bruins to the easy Div, lol. Sure, it would make 2 Divisions fight for the Wildcard but it will still basicly the same number of Teams that fight for it. No Change at all IMO. At least no change that should open the door to get away from random assignments

I'm not sure if this is a joke?

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/league/40

That's 4 top 10 teams, 5 top 15 teams in one league.

Drunks are going to be good this season. Drunks4Playoffs. Someone should invent LongShotPut for Legacy's guys to focus on golf during playoff time.
