It's likely because you understand the need to pick your battles when you are a small company with two people writing code for multiple games, and realize that this suggestion is pretty minor with very few benefits.

hire coders. their are plenty out there.

I don't really see this as a suggestion as it should have been in the game already,
how some great glb1 features didn't make it into 2 is just beyond me.

if this is ngth just lock it up.

Well, if I gave up 600+ yards to a rookie team after I requested scrims from rookie teams I would be embarrassed. I guess that is the good thing about low expectations with AGDTD, even the worst beat downs don't bother you.

In GLB1 there are never "real" games between teams in different brackets to play one another (aside from Regional Pro/National Pro/WL). In GLB2 we see ladder games between different tiers fairly quickly. That would be one argument for not having the same options.

If you're thinking he's suggesting this because he got embarrassed by a rookie team in a scrim then I think you're missing the point or making up a different story in your head. He's also not the only one that thinks this is a good idea, do those other people agree because they got embarrassed by a rookie team too?

He started this thread because I was scrimming him trying to better my defense and offense against a sophmore team.

Honestly I am not sure why it is such a huge deal. If you don't want yourself open to quick scrims shut them off.
