A heuristic is essentially a rule of thumb - a logical way of approaching things, based on how they usually work out.
"When judging new players to sign to my rookie team last season, I used "having GLB1 trophies" as a heuristic of skill in the game".
A 100% foolproof rule? No, that isn't what hueristics are. A decent way to quickly judge things? Sure.

Maybe, but we can google it if we don't understand... wait... so can you.

foofighter24 doesn't know very much about heuristics.

Also, to put it into better, GLB context - this rule sets up how players will be covered by LBs and the secondary. Will there be a few plays where a linebacker or safety covers a tight end on the "wrong" side of the formation? Possibly. But on most plays, it should work fine to keep people covered by a fairly logical player.

Dude, loosen up. Everytime you post there is a hint of stickupyourassedness. Yeah, for most questions people post on here they could find the answer in a few minutes of research but posting and communicating on the forums is half the game. Getwitit.

It has made all passing sets very interesting. I've seen numerous teams getting very creative with the 5 WR defense now, a lot of All Dogs GO and Storm Brave against the 5 WR set now. It will end up stopping teh 5 WR spam in the Rookie Leagues.

I used a heuristic technique to solve the problem quicker.

exploit, he runs plays not built for the situation against certain situations.
He explained how he did it in one of the 4wr threads a while ago.

That Dogs All Go shouldn't even work vs. 5 WR sets. How much pass awareness does a QB have to have to see one of his WRs isn't even being covered?

he has to go through his progressions...
