Perhaps I should have said "it's possible it should require it"

I don't think it's possible to break out of the play logic into block mode right now

I don't think taht last one is poor blocking, I think its a poorly designed play. The entire right side of the OL's job is to pull, not block the DL.

They may be broken plays, but you seriously can't think its NEVER a failed vision check. Not done builds = lots of mistakes

I have tried about 80% of the run plays offered in the playbook,

I think i have a pretty decent eye of what are failed checks and what aren't.

and those plays stood out like sore thumbs for about the past 2 weeks now,
2 days ago when I mentally concluded they were 100% bugs and not failed vision checks, I decided to make this thread.

That 2nd play you linked isn't a bug, the play goes exactly how the art shows it going.

I just looked at those replays, and yes it is. 25 is not nearly enough to do an outside pulling block like that. hell my slowest olinemen has ~25-30 sprint/quick/footwork and he barley can stop any DE on an edge rush

holy jesus shut up

the pathing of the block prevents any of them from being allowed to block the incoming DL,

it can't be awareness when the freaking linemen starts the play 1 foot away from the linemen,
they know damn well he is there, but they are forced to start pulling due to the pathing.

We are not talking about pass rushing here, and besides with all that physical you probably lack in the actual BLOCKING part.

if your oline were faster, they would get to their pulling position faster.

and these aren't finished joes, we're only season 2. if they were Pro (vet?) level joes, they would have more speed to pull faster, and if they didn't, you wouldn't run that play.

pls tell me where in the 10 or so ticks of action my linemen could pull faster?

This is why I am telling you to leave the thread if you don't understand what is happening....

Pulling fast or slow isn't the problem, the problem is while OLinemen start their blocking path,
they are not coded to block, and this is why the 2 or 3 defenders fly in and make the tackle in about 5 or so ticks.

The builds are irrelevant when there is no recognition whatsoever of the defenders. You shouldn't need 100 run block awareness to see a guy on the dline. That is retarded.
