Ends up looking like a wide open receiver catching a pass, but it's more just the defender tried to make a play and failed on a lack of skills, than because the receiver wasn't covered.

This is what makes me believe you could run some really effective zone defenses in Vet with some good planning. One thing I do love about the graphics in this game compared to the dots. If I seen something like that in GLB1 I would never think to increase vertical on the CB in a replay like that. (not that many people don't increase jumping for obvious coverage reasons but seeing exactly what is happening in a replay has a lot of value)

Don't get me wrong, I agree. I just don't think it's the automatic fail that some others might believe. My mediocre coordinating skills and build advice for my players will inevitably hold us back some too

Ability type: Active
Powered by: Pass Awareness
Activation condition: Passing vs zone defenders while no targets are open.
Activation chance: up to 15%
While active: Chance to fake opposing zone defenders.

Why would I make sth up? Still works vs the 2 Under plays vs the safeties tho

does anyone else feel like PF should also have an affect on pass rushers?
guys with high pass deflection should maybe try to make a deflection roll for a few ticks instead of continuing their rush, and really all defenders in real life are trained to get their hands up when the qb is "about to pass" if they arent close enough to stop the throwing motion themselves

It would be kinda cool to see it have a dual purpose for QB scrambling/rushing while behind the LOS. Similar to how juke and head fake freeze a defender.

this
thats exactly what i mean
it should have a really small chance of doing this
like 5/10/15% at levels 1/2/3
