HOF should have something for strength of schedule (shouldn't be too hard to put in some sort of factor using the ladder rankings), but MVP doesn't need it - it's a league award, with teams playing relatively balanced schedules (2 vs division, 1 vs all others). As long as MVP includes a little bit of record in it's calculations, which it seems to, it's not an issue.
