You guys should probably ask about the seeding for the playoffs - if the WC is seeded #4 you might want to play for the #2 seed.

I'm sure WC is the #4 seed.

Hawk now has a ridiculous 6 teams in the top 50; Grizzly only has 3, but those three are ranked above everyone in Hawk.

Hawk vs Grizzly heads up in the ladder:

Zorp beat MBK
Alpine beat OMG
STL beat Hillbilly
Boise Broncos beat Big Bone

Grizzly is 3-1 with the one loss being a first week matchup between two teams ranked 200+

STP faces Hillbilly in the ladder next

Needs more Hawk vs Grizzly in the ladder if you ask me

There's the tourny idea that brings home more divisional rivalries and league pride: the league v. league tourny.

Each "day 2" your league is assigned another league to play against, seeded by ladder 1st v. 1st.

Winner of the tourny is whichever team gets the most wins. Tie-breaker is PF minus PA.

You can either do it elimination-style or just do a round robin where each league plays each league once, and the winning league is decided by:

1) Most league v. league matchup wins; or
2) Most team v. team wins.

If the sim automatically setup the scrims, you don't have to worry about teams taking forever to send the scrim request (like you do when the teams setup their own tournys).

The ladder seeding of the matchups should help ensure that the matchups are all fairly even (or at least pitting strength against strength). It will foster more "League Pride", which would bring more excitement to the league forums (that seem currently to be kind of a wasteland).

Yeah the old League Challenges from GLB1 were fun for a lot of teams, although there were always scheduling issues, and they didn't have good seeding capabilities. Both of those are solved in GLB2.

Really I'm all for any tournaments at all starting; looking at my Games page and seeing an empty box makes me a sad Nibor

I sent a scrim to every team in the top ten (well, the six non-pussies who accept quick scrims at least) and lost to each of them. It at least proves that I'm consistent. It's Time Trial's Ladder Challenge!

I am sitting on AP on almost all of my bots. That's my excuse going forward now that the o-line thing is fixed.

Aren't most people sitting on an AP to get their first ability to 2 at the end of the season?

Depends on the dot - i've got some that want a second ability now and some that want to pump that first ability ASAP.

I'm not sure "most people". I've seen a lot of people who have two different abilities firing.

There are a couple of bots where I chose a second SA instead of waiting to power the first up to level two. For example, I don't need Showboat to go to level 2, so my D dots with showboat also have a second skill.
