I can say the exact opposite.

Have you ever said anything helpful?

I just feel like DTs have to break through the line quickly because QBs love to roll out straight into DEs instead of realizing where pressure is actually coming from. This makes it way harder to get sacks for DTs. Pass Rush Technique/Spin Cycle seem to work well for that.

You should shut up and listen,

coming from the team with easily one of the best pass rushes in the game, you should shut your mouth and listen.

I have played "good competition" and I can tell you, you guys are overrating spin cycle and technique.

I agree pass rush and spin is pretty good, but my best DTs do something else which works much better and is better as a whole for DTs imo.

Now that a full season is over, has anyone invested any decent amount of points into footwork? And has it visibly improved the player on the field in any way? I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it. Everyone seemed to think it was somewhat worth it at some point, but I was wondering if there was any evidence of this beyond speculation.

I only got 1.5 sacks and 8 hurries. 63 snap reaction 40 pass tech and 52 balance. Not too hot.

I think one of the best things about GLB2 so far, in my experience, is that the most effective builds tend to be the most realistic and balanced. You can't crank one attribute and suddenly see superhuman results.

It's early in the game, and builds haven't had time to really flesh out yet. But in the early stages at least, redlining quickness or snap reaction or even Pass Rush Tech/Power, only gets you so far.

Personally, I'd say build and balance the following attributes, leaning to your Specials and role:
Pass Rush Pwr
Pass Rush Tech
Balance
Snap Reaction
Blitz Awareness
Conditioning
Speed
Quickness

And of course, if you build a guy cranking only those, he'll get caked the first 3 run plays, lose moral and energy, and do nothing worthwhile. Balance, sir. Balance.

10 games, 3 sacks. He did ok.

has anyone gotten any results with Snap Reaction?

I don't see the merit of raising it yet.

The difference is very minor. Every 6-10 points is like one point in agi/speed imho.

yeah i capped it on my defensive end last season as it was pretty cheap and noticed pretty good results along with pass rush power/tech
