The difference is Ezra KNEW he had not shot of being competitive, and he didn't care enough to put together a real team or even real coordinators. He intentionally advertised every post as him "trying to win" while accepting 0 experience strangers at coordinators and either trying not to recruit, or intentionally trying to recruit dots who he knew would not be competitive in WL.
To put it simple, he intentionally put a team on the dotball field with 0 intention of winning any games, and he lied in his forum posts in multiple forums where he said he was doing the opposite of tanking.

KC gutted mid-season for no reason. It was before GLB2 officially launched, but even if the dots need flex in GLB2, they are so cheap anyhow to start off that you can easily wait until the off-season. Selling teams/players to tank mid-season should not be allowed (by the client or by the admins), and intentionally troll-tanking WL rather than taking a demote should be punished.
imo fwiw. Doesn't matter to me since both are in the other stupid conference, but I do not respect either move in the least.
