Maybe even make a dumbed down version of your DAI like Gerr has done in the past and teach people how to build their own from that.

I disagree. We work hard on our AI's and want to learn how to improve them. The AI's we use are 100% our own. It would be nice to see what we're doing wrong and make corrections as needed. Originally posted by LordEvil

Love the PowerPoint format, thanks LE.

I can't say this enough... You can build all the dots and have the AIs, but there is no substitute for hard work. If we all built our dots the exact same while using the same AI templates, it is likely that most of the teams currently at the top would still be at the top. Being a good PW coordinator takes time and effort.

Don't get me wrong, you gotta have the builds right or you simply won't make it to the top. But builds are worthless if you don't put them in the position to be successful! I definitely appreciate that WE and AI are trying to help others out, but this will only help so much. A post can't teach you to scout and find holes in the opponent. That only comes from hard work and practice mixed in with some luck.

I opened up my team like 5+ seasons ago, builds, DAI, D plays, a bunch of forum posts, etc. I noticed a bunch of guys try to directly rip them off and didn't update, but some guys tweaked them to work on their team and are doing well with them. Opening up his builds and what not is a good thing. Thanks whodey. I tried the +6 CEQ in vision on my CB's/FS/SS awhile back (stopped speed at 52 I think) and come playoffs they were killing it. Only problem was if an HB broke a tackle on outside and got free, nobody could chase him down

This is probably the most important post here.

What was your reasoning behind not putting any SPs in catching for your HBs? Better to run the ball back in season 34?

Elusive HBs seem to catch better with 15 catching to where scat Hbs seem to need about 30. The strength helps them catch more passes IMO more so than catching. Speed power backs were my favorite, they are great early plus some just tag them as power backs and they go for big yardage on the outsides.

I still have your teams builds Honey Badger from the Sons of Anarchy made it to the championship game. You would of won that game had you slammed ball like they did. I have lots just never use them as I am accustomed to doing the same thing over and over and being pretty close.

I did notice mid season Whodeys QBs drop back faster than most. I figured it was high agility. That allows the QB to go through the rotations quicker.

I've found catching on a HB keeps them from stopping when they catch it. For the most part they will catch in stride and keep going.

I have always thought the same as Kelts about catching for HB's. I have never built HBs without catching so I wouldn't really know how they preform without it. Do your HBs still keep their feet after a catch or keep in stride?

Yea bmac and I could never justify using the run game as our first priority. We had always been so pass heavy every season and we made it our main priority in the playoffs because all the builds were built for a pass only offense. Looking back on it now we definitely should have used the run game much more. It's really hard to control the clock against a good team without a good run game, but we really didn't have any dots that were built to run the ball...no powerbacks etc.

I actually still have the full build plans stashed in one of my PFs somewhere lol

Hb usually have a couple of feet on the defender anyways so if he stops he still has a shot to get going again. I used to go heavy catch in stride on Hbs with high catching, but that was back in the HB flat days. Now with counters yoru better off with elusive more agile players with some strength.
