Should be pretty easy to code it so that WL teams can't be sold.

Even if you prevent the team from being sold, there are still ways to make sure you lose, like playing all players OOP or your favorite, removing EQ. There's nothing you can do to prevent people from gutting mid season... the only thing you can do is prevent them/the owner from ever being allowed back into WL, and if they sold mid season I'm pretty sure they don't really care if they aren't allowed back in.

And are we really worried about stats? I thought this was the season when everyone stopped caring?

stats are fun and it has been a pretty solid race up until this gut. Now I could care less about the statistics at all and will just randomly fuck around until the playoffs.

based on how Raiders played v Jets yesterday, Id say that NFL has a similar problem

We haven't really changed much, but we were still trying to run relevant plays to keep up with the 200-500 rush yards per game. But really doesn't matter now.
