65%/35% Run/Pass is a run offense. "Pure" might have been poor wording since that might imply Rush Hour type team.

Well in that case those offenses can certainly win WL. UFC won WL with that sort of offense. Dog's and Odessa both have made the championship game the last 2 seasons doing that. Hell a lot of the playoff teams last season were absolutely that.

Right...they can compete, but more often than not, they don't win gold.

Point is, there seems to be this belief that, in this sim, the only way to win is to Big I yourself to a championship when that's really not true.

Well fwiw only 1 team can win wl a season.

I personally find the pass game more exciting since a run heavy o is like watching paint dry. Still points is points. I do wish bort left wrs is a better spot though.

Oh I certainly don't believe that to be true. Though I also don't believe that to be a good run offense either anymore.

im still interested in running a 5WR offense since everyone seems to be chicken. I'll probs have to wait till SF gets to pro level tho.

I've been seeing more and more 5WR lately. This game could really use a great spread offense.

Ya very sparingly though. Thought about switching BEEF over to an offense like that this offseason but would involved too many changes in a weak FA market.

if the blocking code wasn't still so dumb you could build that monster pass blocking O line and probably pull it off with some success. but when you can drop a DE in a zone and a OT completely loses his shit, or 6 dots can't stop a 4 dot rush its never gonna work the way we want it to.

Blocking isn't the problem, as 5WR yields fewer sacks than Singleback or Shotgun. The issue is that most teams don't bother with enough WRs to use it regularly.
