You don't seem to get how the playoffs work. The teams with the best regular season records play against the teams with the worst regular season records. It's called seeding. What you're doing is actually called seething. See the difference, big guy?

In the conference championship game, you played an 8-8 team who lost to OffTopica. That isn't seeding.

Eh, easy road or not, you still have to win the damn games. And I think this season showed that's not always as easy as it looks.

Why? You guys had never even made the WL playoffs before, you didn't win Pro gold last season, and the only time you ever won Pro gold was in s29. Ghuffman is a beast, so you have that going for you, but otherwise it's completely unexplainable. You don't have the best dots, your offense is bad, and you have no history of success.
We just added one of the most decorated DCs in WL history and you find our success unexplainable? That's just silly. also, you have nearly zero insight on the quality of our dots. I doubt it surprises anybody here though to find you have an opinion about a subject with which you have no knowledge.

They beat 2 teams to get to us. They didn't find the Shockers to be such push overs.

I think you got to give these teams some credit, wether they got an easy bracket/ a hard bracket, who they beat, who they didnt beat, which teams where the fav or not. They are the last 2 teams standing playing for the gold, the rest are just excuses. imo

Yes, being the last two teams standing is a great accomplishment.

Whole lotta Jelly over non-moon league teams being in the finals.
Never seen so many whining after they lose, or making excuses.
Excuses are monuments of nothingness. They build bridges to nowhere. Those who use these tools of incompetence, seldom become anything but nothing at all.

I have t won a WL title, and I understand what they are saying.
Apparently once you win one the effort and desire just isn't there anymore. You still care but not as much, so losing in the playoffs doesn't sting as much if at all.

I get why you're being defensive, but you shouldn't let that make you do something laughable like pretending that I don't know what I'm talking about. If you want to compare dot building, coordination, team ownership, WL success, general sim knowledge, or even finding and solving Bugs then you know I'm completely out of your league in every single category. You also might want to work on your reading comprehension since I obviously said: "Ghuffman is a beast, so you have that going for you, but otherwise it's completely unexplainable." Again, you haven't had any success at GLB before this season so you don't get it yet. I didn't get it back in the day either. Being the best WL team these days is like being the best boxer. It just doesn't mean what it used to. That doesn't make Floyd Mayweather an unworthy champion, it just makes his era a lesser one than what came before. If you had experienced WL success before this then you would realize that.

well, we lost to a 1-14 (edit 1-12 when we played them) moosejaw team too you know.
Great point. That's why it's hard to take Doof seriously.
T2: It's not complacency, it's indifference.

It's not like they simfucked their way all the way to the champ game, but I do see the "outta nowhere" angle, too.
I can make an argument that If S21 team A adjusts to the meta game better than S21 team B back when the sim was changing constantly that there was more luck involved that Team C and Team D in season 35 adjusting to the meta game in a more constant sim.
Back then, you gained a larger advantage through networking to be able to field the ideal 55 roster; now it's a matter of preference and less about exploit. I'm not saying everyone who won back then were exploit artists, but there was more emphasis on predicting sim change and exploiting it where as now there's more emphasis on scheme coordination, build efficiency and match ups. Tons of respect for the guys who lead the way and were the best at adjusting, but that wasn't always the most skilled; sometimes that was the best networkers, hence win the forums and win the game.
