As am I - I suggested the list so the voting few can simply look through the short list as opposed to sifting through each team's depth charts.

Either way - there is bound to be a fair amount of player research & consideration by the voters and the point you had made in regards to trust is the most profound observation in this thread.

Why is this so difficult? Each coach/rep (one per team) pick their all pro teams (they can have two players from their squad on said team - one person tabulate the results and post). I can't help but laugh at failure to reach a simple end result here. Have the teams based off the lineup and I don't even think the need to get fancy with LG/RG or LT/RT (I really don't want to sift through 20 freaking players for each position.

I also thought my proposal was the easiest and fairest. If you want to make sure we don't get 16 pro bowl ballots, make it difficult and time consuming.

And I'm okay with adding two players from your own team, but that does guarantee that some votes will go to guys completely undeserving. But if that greases the stuck wheels and gets them on board, I'm in.

I again offer my services as a vote counter. PM the lists and I'll do the counting, and then post everyone's ballots along with the results.

The next question is:

When would be the most appropriate time to submit the votes?

I was say after week 15 and before we play out of conference. That gives the vote counter a few days to get them posted before the playoffs start.

Surely it should be over the course of the full regular season. So votes should be cast after game 16. Only regualar season games count. Gives the counters time to announce the results during the playoff/scrimmage games, when things can be fairly quiet.

Definitely should include every regular season game though.

The NFL counts its Pro Bowl and MVP votes before the end of the season and it works just fine. I think if you haven't won your way onto an All-Pro team through 15 games, 1 game out of conference isn't going to do it for you.

And we are talking about 1 game out of conference. There's no balance for game 16. Games 1 through 15 we all play the same competition. But for week 16 someone will have to play the top team from the other conference, while someone else gets to pad their stats against the last place team.

That would severely skew the stats and not give a true representation of an All-Pro. Luck of the schedule should never play into it, which it would if we factor in week 16.

I imagine it's just a coincidence that the Danzig Demons are pushing to include week 16, when they play the currently winless Belfast Shamrocks. Right?

lol, no actually I just thought it was better to do it over the course of a full regular season. You seemed to be saying that by doing it after 15 games it would give you time to produce the reults before the playoffs. I was simply saying whats the rush to do it before the playoffs. As there is no need to, why not take into account every regular season game.

I noticed that you have your final game against a team with a strong record so I guess thats why you want to do it before then??? Yes/no?? Obviously you are a bit concerned that Brussels will prevent your players from putting up decent stats when they beat you

We're undefeated. I'm sure Brussels will play a good game, but I'm not worried about them. I just think that since the level of competition in game 16 is completely random, it's not a good measuring stick. The previous 15 games however, which present a completely balanced schedule, are.

Although if we were playing Plainview....

Cheating? We're at your place. Who was calling our hotel rooms every 15 minutes? I think it was Viking-inspired sabotage.

Obviously we should have tried calling every 10 minutes. Close game though....
