I was going to come up with a witty, humorous remark for this and then I realized... This is an amazing idea!!!!
Sure, nobody wants to pay for an injured dot but what if they didn't have to? I'm not going to bother with the suggestion forum since this will take a lot of coding and we all know GLB v1 isn't likely seeing that. I think it'd be kinda cool (and add a little bit of risk factor) into the creation of our free dots. Maybe lift the demand restrictions but add potential season and career ending injuries. Yeah, it'd kinda suck to spend over a year tailoring a player to find out that in the blink of an eye he's become as worthless as Romo in crunch-time but it'd probably add an element of fun as well. Maybe code it so only a free payer could injure another free player. That'd balance the load across O and D instead of a swarm of HB/QB/WR freebies and hardly any HH safeties.
Hell, maybe even open it up too all players and just extend the player's plateau by the injury time. That way everyone gets what they pay for but you may be sitting on a gimpy HB during playoffs....
