Why ?

because they don't look as dominant as they once did.

According to everyone else, we never looked dominant. The fact that we are already guaranteed a better record than what we had last year and with 1 or 2 more wins will be assured a playoff spot shows that we are a team on the rise. The only thing these losses have shown is that we still have work to do.

Hahaha, what an upset. I guess they were tired when they played us?

"4th Quarter
0:14 Salford TD Leunidas Dashall pass to Martin Preuss up the right side, PAT made by David Leftfoot [TD] (13 yd gain)"

We were not tired, it was a close game but you win at 0.14s of the end !! lucky or not?

so salford recoverd a fumble of something on that side of the field? if not, then a drive down the field to set up a 13 yard TD with 14 seconds left could mean you were tired.

Play fair now. You can't go around trashing my team without announcing which team you support. Please tell me you are a USC or Buckeye fan.

SEC fan all the way! I was born at the University of Kentucky hospital in Lexington, so I'm Big Blue by birth. That said, I did most of my growing up in Tennessee, and you can't live in Tennessee without taking sides in the Vols vs. Vandy argument (they ask you at the border) so I root for Tennessee too. UK and UT, that's me.

I got lots of respect for Tennessee, although they are the 'other' UT. I would love to see the Horns and Vols play a home/home in football one of these days, it would make for a damn good football game.

yeah it would, but honestly The Vols are the true UT, they made the "T" famous and now i see teenagers with Texas hats on that is a copy of the Tennessee T but only less rounded.

as far as the games go, I dont think Texas could win at Neyland Stadium (holds like 107,000) and Tennessee would need some lucky bounces for them to win at Texas. Most likely a 1-1 split but I think the Vols are a little better...

this man shares my opinion. There is only 1 UT and it ain't the vols. (nothing against the vols)

Hate to break it to you, but you're wrong. The Horns started playing football in 1893. The Vols first game was in 1891. BTW, the Horns won their first game, in fact they won their first 10 games. The Vols...not so lucky, they lost 8 of their first 10 games.

Texas has 820 victories all-time, Tennessee 771.

Head to head wins: Texas 2, Tennessee 1.

Texas has been to 48 bowl games, Tennessee 48. Texas is 25-21-2 in bowl games, Tennessee is 26-22.

All-Americans: Texas 119, Tennessee 86.

College Football Hall of Fame: Texas 16, Tennessee 22.

Heisman Trophy winners: Texas 2 (VY should have won it in 04-05, making it 3), Tennessee 0.

Conference championships: Texas 29, Tennessee 16.

National Championships: Texas 4, Tennessee 4 (2 of the claimed 6 by Tennessee are not recognized by the NCAA).

Hook 'em horns by the way. I started college at the real UT this summer.

Hint: Not Tennessee.
