Wow, big match up this week in Alpha. Seeing as the Bandicoots have only given up 3 points all season, it doesn't look good for Palau. Hopefully they have some tricks up their sleeve for this game though. Good luck to both.

Hate to tell you boys but Brisbane wins 48-0 sorry, hes that damn good. I give respect where respect is due and he handed us our hats.

But I have to say, I was shocked as all hell to see the margin of victory in our game. When it was 10-3 in the second quarter I thought we had a close game in the making, but after that it just got out of hand.

we were ok if we didnt have 6 turnovers including a botched punt after forcing a 3 and out to start the game. The problem is our backups, your guys are basically two starting units while our backup linemen are level 4 8 and 8 so when they came in even just one of them, the entire line collapsed. we were outmatched plain and simple

in other words he smoked that ass, and you have justified it by all the miscues. do you think its possible he just planned better than you? my guess is even if you didnt have all the TOs he still beats you by 40...but i guess thats more of a morale victory then isnt it?

Im pretty sure I said We were outmatched....let me check....yep its right there, outmatched. So not really seeing how I am trying to justify I gave the guy credit for just being better than us....

Yeah, I don't really understand how I've been doing it. When I look at Palau's roster I see a team that is about on even footing with me. Of course that's what I saw when I looked at Melbourne and Tonga too, and we know how that turned out.

Well it's a good thing our GM didn't totally embarrass himself in this thread. Oh, wait.

Yeah, that was a decisive win for you guys. I'll be interested to see how things shake out in a few days once the top teams are done playing each other.

I wish I saw the same thing that you see when I look at both our rosters. Level-wise I guess you might be able to get away with saying we are on equal footing...might. But where you have the advantage is in the builds of your players. All of your guys are built well from what I can gather looking at stat bars and watching film. We have a lot of good builds, but we do have some weak spots. In my mind, we are decided underdogs in this game. I just hope we can make a game of it and not get run off the field. Good luck, and hopefully it will be a good game.

Yea we have a damn tough division for a first year league, Between Brisbane,Tonga,Palau, and Melbourne the playoffs are going to be really cutthroat, We have to win out to have any shot at the #2 seed because we pulled the toughest opponent for our Out of conference game in The USAORG so even with a win over everyone but Brisbane in our conference we could still lose the #2 seed. This should be interesting

If you beat the Cannibals easily as well, I'll give you credit that you are a really complete GLB player: good builds, good scouting and good tactics!

Kudos for what you have done so far, BTW!

Hehe, thanks man. I'm looking forward to a competitive game with the Cannibals. Especially after one of my toughest games of the year against Palau. But I'm pretty pleased at the moment with the win today.

You guys had better have a double helping of toddler legs before the game, because I doubt you're going to have much appetite when its over.
