Picked up 6 of these. Not bad, more maple than you'd think, and very smoky. The smoke saves it imo. Also lighter than you'd expect for a beer based on a doughnut.
If you're in to the chocolate covered bacon, I've make some I that's pretty tasty. Thick cut bacon (Wright brand - original or peppered) dipped/covered in a semi-sweet (dark) chocolate blended with powdered ancho, chipotle, and cayenne. Is nice
Cook the bacon on a cookie sheet in a 400 degree oven for 21-23 minutes. It'll keep it from curling up and give it a more uniform crisp.
