We did. We're not die hards and when it comes to coordinators, don't have much experience so we often underperform our EL. One only has to look at our losses this past season against teams with similar or less to see that. We were getting blown out and lucky to win 3-5 games in OPL for the last 10 seasons so we asked to be demoted. Last season we were one of the highest ELs and still lost in the playoffs to a team that was well below us in EL.

We're not complaining, just calling it like it is. Our EL may be 1200, but we perform typically like a 1050-1100 unless our really young coordinators catch up more this season than last.

So when you beat up on younger teams and promote, what then?

They won't promote, I have had many teams in this situation and every offseason some question it but by the end one of the younger teams has pulled ahead. Sit back and watch it unfold
