Nah, it's the perfect drunk game. Rules are simple, it has expansions so you don't get bored, and you get to laugh at the other players when they get killed and sent back to the town square.
Granted, my favorites to play on our Beer and Boardgame nights are the old 1980 Assassin: The Final Game and Cults Across America.
But everything before he helipad is pointless. Such. A. Bad. Game.
Nah, you can also win with the 25 zombie rule, plus you have issues of not knowing when the helipad is gonna pop up, so you might plan on the helipad landing in one zone but it lands elsewhere.
More importantly, the expansions make it so you can adjust the game, add scenarios, etc., all without making the rules super complicated so that you can't drink.
Believe me- we tried to play the BSG game one night and it took us an hour and a half of non-focused drinking just to make it through the rules. By 4:00am, we were only halfway through the game.
I've never seen anybody win with the 25 zombie rule. Is it even possible? Seems like you'd need some /crazy/ RNG to not die before killing that many.
I can see the appeal of a game that's basically all luck for drinking, but if drinking i'd rather play a more social game, like apples to apples or something along those lines.
I've never played the BSG game, no comment on that.
