He's doing more than Sean Taylor right now. Pretty much anything breathing is.

Seriously... 1 productive and helpful post in 3 pages and then a bunch of empty dick-measuring. Sometimes the users on this site can make the forums a horrible place.

Well... He did ask for it with all the boasting and popping off.

If you don't like the way how some of us conduct our selves ignore it and move on. As some would say, don't feed the trolls. Words of the wise...

Ok. I'll try this again. Feel free to see page 11 of this thread http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4766310&page=last for another take at this.

36ST21 no one doubts that spreading SP around in attributes and SAs at lower levels will produce superior builds at lower levels. But underlying GLB is math designed into the game. And the math dictates that while short-term over perfromance can be achieved by building a "balanced" player, long-term it does not lead to superior players. I'll offer up my lvl 25 player as he is a good comparison to your lvl 25 and lvl 27 players.

Your lvl 25 CB - lvl 25/effective level 25/Player Value 438.32
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2566928

Your lvl 27 CB - lvl 27/effective level 28/Player Value 493.98
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2540677

My lvl 25 CB - lvl 25/effective level 28/Player Value 494.32
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2648545

I have no doubt your two players represent more balanced builds. And if you want to argue that they are "currently" superior players to mine, I'm cool with that too. But my level 25 CB has a player value of 56 more than yours and in fact is higher than your level 27 guy. So already your build strategy is starting to suffer in comparison to a superior build strategy. Again, notice I said strategy not player. My player is extremely imbalanced at this point in his career, but he's already got more value than your player 2 levels ahead and is 56 greater than your same level player. If Bort wrote you an email today saying he'd like to give you 56 SP you'd probably take it. Well he has, it's called the coding in the math of the game. And there are certain build approaches that lead to superior players at the upper levels.

As we approach lvl 79, what you will find is the player value gap between my guy and yours will become larger. GLB is paradoxical in that if you build a balanced/superior player on day 1 you'll end up either imbalanced or inferior on day 281 and if you build an imbalanced/inferior player on day 1 you'll end up with a balanced/superior player on day 281. Feel free to experiment with this, but we've actually all been down that road before and it's been many seasons since your strategy has been competitive at the highest levels.

There are many places within GLB to research effective build strategies. Hope that helps explain a little where people are coming from regardiing your build. Agree withh MHS post above that as a community we don't always do the best job of critiquing builds. And there is some truth to what Drizzy says as well.

No mercy to bad boasters especially after they start popping off.
