Hey, you do what works and there is NOTHING stopping others from doing the same. But it's not as black & white as you make it out to be.

Some people like to overdo the pumpfake
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2480588
Check the player note:

and for when he closes it:
QB(Pump-Fake):
Archetype = Pocket Passer
Bonus SA = Quick Read
Height/Weight = Avg/Min
Attributes = Throwing to 25, Stamina to 13, Speed to 13.
Initial 15 SP's = All into Throwing at at creation.
Training = Intense train Agility to 14, then switch to multi-train Vision/Confidence.
BT's = Use BT's to boost training on Vision/Confidence by 2 stars each, then use BT's to buy extra SP's and put them back into Vision.
Day 1 boost = only boost 2x, bring Throwing to 49, then boost one last time. Use extra SP's to take Pump-Fake to 3.
Level Progression = Put all SP's into Pump-Fake until it hits 10. Use left-over SP's to take Quick-Read to 2 and then into Vision. Once PF hits 10, put all new SP's into Vision and switch to Intense training on Strength.
SA's = Pump-Fake to 10, Quick-Read to 2.
Equipment = all into Throwing, use level 8 CEQ upgrade to bump Pocket Pass line by 1.
Level 15 Goals = By level 15, which will be the playoff level, with equipment, I hope to have this player at 70+ Throwing, 40+ Vision, 25+ Confidence, and 20+ Strength.
Summary = This is a Pump-Fake heavy build with only 1st cap Throwing. With equipment, Throwing still gets to a decent level. The early Speed & Agility allow for quicker drop backs, which helps to reduce early pressure by the DL.

With agents taking pump fake to 10+ , it's just a bad thing altogether for Pee Wee. There is NO way to build a Pee Wee defender to counter 10+ in pump fake. The highest we could take vision is 60 and that would severely damper the defenders speed and/or agility.
Super Vision to 10 would cost too many points for defenders too..

I don't understand why Bort did not code supporting attributes for pump fake.. seems like strength/vision/carrying ... those seem to go with what it takes to actually pump fake. I can see agility helping that too (i.e footwork)

Gerr is right though.. whatever works and gets the W. Our QBs have invested 0 SPs into pump fake so far.. if we decide to take it that high, we should have ALOT more throwing then 70...

I am doing an experiment. I usually don't ask people to take PF past 4, but this season, I have one QB with my standard build and one with a high PF build and will see what happens at the end of the season. As you can see in my build, I am sacrificing Throwing & Vision to get PF to 10, so there are some trade offs. And so far, if you scout my two QB's, their stats are very similar, so the higher PF really isn't doing any better than my standard build. It will be interesting to see what happens the 2nd half of the season.

And Kaerey, while my agent screwed up by making that public, it was rude to post that...

Yeah, you're right that was rude. I'm sorry for doing that. It was public information since the note was public. But you're right, it was intended to be private.

DE:
Archetype = Pass Rusher
Bonus SA = Relentless Pursuit
Height/Weight = Min/Max
Attributes = Strength to 25, Stamina to 15, Tackling to 13.
Initial 15 SP's = All into Strength at creation.
Training = Train Speed & Agility all season.
BT's = Boost Speed & Agility by 2 stars, then buy SP's after that and put them back into Agility.
Day 1 boost = Only 2x boost, bring Strength to 49, then boost one more time. Use remaining SP's to bring Vision to 15, then rest into Strength.
Level Progression = Bring Strength to 2nd cap, then bring SA's to 2 each, then Agility to 1st cap, then Vision/Tackling/Stamina to 20. Anything left over can go into Speed.
SA's = Relentless Pursuit to 2, First Step to 2.
Equipment = All into Strength
Level 15 Goals = By level 15, which will be the playoff level, with equipment, I hope to have this player at 80+ Strength, 50+ Agility, 35+ Speed, 20+ Vision/Tackling/Stamina.
Summary = Your typical run stuffer DE template, but this time, using the Pass Rusher archetype.

LB:
Archetype = Coverage LB
Bonus SA = Shutdown Coverage
Height/Weight = Min/Min
Attributes = Speed to 25, Stamina to 11, Tackling to 15.
Initial 15 SP's = All into Speed at creation.
Training = Normal train Vision ALL season. Under this new XP system, Normal training gives the best mix of training & BT's.
BT's = Use BT's to boost training on Vision by 3 stars, then use BT's to buy additional SP's and put them back into Vision.
Day 1 boost = only boost 2x, bring Speed to 49, then boost one last time. Bring Tackling to 15, Superior Vision to 4, then rest into Agility.
Level Progression = Put all SP's into Agility until it hits 1st cap, then back into Speed to 2nd cap, and any left over SP's can be added to Vision.
SA's = Superior Vision to 4.
Equipment = all into Speed with level 8 CEQ upgrade into Hard Hitter line.
Level 15 Goals = By level 15, which will be the playoff level, with equipment, I hope to have this player at 80+ Speed, 50+ Agility, 40+ Vision.
Summary = This is a pure coverage LB template that has worked well for me for several seasons.

I think quick read does more harm than good for pee wees. Ever see a ball thrown right away and the Wr hasn't even made a move yet? I think that is quick read triggering.

I thought they did away with that cheat ages ago, am I missing something?

Was never aware of a cheat involving this. But under the new XP system, as long as you get .5 in AGL in that stat, you start the 2x trains at 48.5 if you 3x boost, but you can bring it to 49 before the 2x trains start if you 2x boost, bring the stat to 49, then boost again.

It's one thing to link the player who made the mistake of making that public, who has since fixed his mistake, but you were just being a jackass when you posted it so everyone would see it. Not once have I ever said anything mean or nasty to you or about your team, and you pull a stunt like this? Very immature.

Might hurt me a little this season, but I had already planned on making changes for future seasons as I am not thrilled on how these builds are progressing.

Not really as most builds end this way in the end. I disagree with training normal all season but in the end the players usually come out about the same just a few points difference here or there,
