Well, until someone decides not to boost anyway because they want an excuse for why they are loosing (little something special for you there Ping72 ). Those people basically keep competitive balance down.

There's a big difference though being out leveled in the beginning of the season and the end. Level 16 to Level 13, not that huge of a difference in the primary categories.

Level 4 dot vs. Level 1 dot...big difference.

I'd say there wasn't a huge difference between 14 & 12 in the old system. But 16 & 13 is fairly significant b/c of equipment.
