That's the equation, nothing new.

A lot can be said for the 1-15 seasons though, if you stick with it you will learn a lot.

If there was hemispheres these teams would learn a lot more as they played 16 real teams and got their brains beat out for an entire season. Seeing horrible pro teams play in an awful conference to promote and get creamed is getting really old..

Also just because its always been broke doesn't mean we can't fix it - Extended plateau - faster leveling - etc.......................

Bort is stubborn and probably keeps thinking that if he makes a bunch of changes to the mechanics of player development that the pro leagues will go back to being competitive top to bottom. Just needs to cut his losses and move on. Would be more fun for all involved. Even if they consolidated leagues and a few teams had to drop out of pro, it'd be more fun earning the way to the pro leagues rather than simply fielding a full roster without gutting and outlasting people into pro

Hopefully, since all these other "NGTH" things did go through, making Pro interesting will be next

I think if anything will fix the Pro level of competition, the upcoming new features (Extended plateau, Accelerated Player Development, Free Fully Boosted Dot) , might be it. I would give 2-3 seasons and if that doesn't work, then there is no excuse not to go with the Hemispheres solution.

Well, it seems that there are new changes and everyone who defends the awful pro leagues say "just wait a few seasons. it'll all even out" and then pro is terrible and a new big GLB change happens and the say the same thing but of course a few seasons later, pro is still terrible.

Nothing is going to fix it. There are just way too many pro teams/leagues

I don't disagree with you. I'm just working with a realistic attitude that Bort and company are clearly not in favour of hemispheres. What I'm saying is that they will have no ground to stand on if those new features fail to bring pro competition levels up.

I agree with this sentiment. Moreover, I think that Hemispheres is a good suggestion even if Pro starts to improve. Whether pro is 1-4 top quality (not necessarily WL playoff quality) teams per league or 5-8 top quality teams per league (which would be a vast improvement) there is still going to be a Pro teams that are a bit too young, that are not very good and gut when they realize it, that are just good enough to not demote but not good enough to stay within 100 of the good teams. Moving the best of those Pro teams into leagues where they compete against other teams of similar quality is a good thing to do. It guarantees that instead of 32 uncapped teams getting great competition week in and week out (WL), there would be 96 uncapped teams getting great competition week in and week out (WL + 2 Hemis). That would be pretty huge improvement in my opinion.

honestly the coordinating is killing the new promotes more than the dots imo

you don't get better playing 1 or 2 meaningful games a season.

This...some of the top Pro teams don't put in any REAL effort until the CCG...however, a lot of the top Pro teams have coordinators who also do WL teams...so...

This is true, but a great gameplan may not work with a different set of dots than what it was built for. I have found that out in the Devonport farm system. You really need dots that fit a gameplan, and/or a gameplan that fits the dots.
