Remember that any team can win at any time. I'm glad you're so confident in your players and management, but it really is unsportsmanlike to go around telling everyone how wonderful your team is. On another note, congratulations on your success thus far this season.. I'll be praying that you guys get your ass stomped into the ground every following week, though, if nothing else I'm sure the Stallions (or whatever Zeta conference team) will lay it on real thick in the championship game.

I don't have time to argue with someone who tries to make things personal. Let's call someone a name to make myself feel better (punk). There are 8 pages of boasting and gloating in the thread 'teams to beat #2', frankly it was getting too long to cipher through. We put up a thread to talk a little shit, not pat our own backside. It's fucking entertainment Baz, not your kids championship game, relax.

I guess we will go into our shell and be completely quiet so there is no interaction, on an interenet game that is designed to be exactly that. Good luck to all and may the best (most knowledgeable team) win. That is one thing I could boast about, but don't have the time. See you down the road.

Some of us did not walk into the season with set/premade teams. My team is 80% different than my first game due to the difficuly of recruiting and finding quality guys.

I'll be interested to see how the second half plays out but I will go on record as being totally shocked if anyone beats th Stallions.

I still do not know what your beef is with the 1 post started by the owner of the team. Let me say that again 1 POST!!!!! You make this to be some kind of great travesty to all of humanity, which in your life it maybe. This thread is not worth getting upset over. It was intended as a light hearted jab at the Rippers and spiraled out of control very quickly, admittedly partially my fault. I'll simply bow out here by saying there is alot of football left to be played and anything can happen. There are many teams that can win this league on any given day. Let's just see how things play out on the field. Good luck to all teams in Western Europe #2 (yes, even the Rippers ).

If you read up in the first quoted message of this game, you were referring to someone as a "dick". Was that to make you feel better too? I'm not making it personal, I just call them as I see them.. and you're an annoying, which to me, translates as a punk. I guess to put it more in your terms, I could have called you a stupid fucking bitch, an annoying fucktard, or any other vulgar reference that you seem to be so fond of. I was simply saying you need to quit disrespecting every other team in Western Europe A #2, whether it be Alpha or Zeta conference, but especially the Zeta conference since we don't even have an opportunity to mop the floor with your asses this season unless we make it to the championship game and you do too.

We all realize it's a game, but when you come in somewhere and start talking shit it's a slap in the face to all the other owners on this game that have worked just as hard as you.. especially for some of us who don't have 7 of our own players on our teams or huge packs of our friends playing the game. You should by all means be proud of your teams, but don't start running your mouth to other people and think they aren't going to say something back to you. Now, I'm not posting any more in this thread, or even reading it any more, because I don't want to toss insults back and forth, that's not what I'm about.. but that's what it has become. Good luck this season, and in the future you should consider letting your teams actions speak for themselves.

Alright, I'm just kidding. I think we all figured out a valuable lesson here. Nobody likes to be made lesser a man of, and in this little bitty room (only three pages) that much testoterone makes the LA smog look like a puff of an air freshener. I say we all just play our games and see where the road takes us. I think we should start a post about most league spirited team. That would be fun. I also want to put it on record that the weekly recaps by CaliGoucho (sorry if I spelt it wrong) kick ass! Those should definately not stop.

Not even close. We have about 25 main threads with 3 threads over 100 and about 4 threads of 35+, the others have around 6-15 in each. I didn't feel like adding them up, but 200 is not nearly as active as ours. We may have you trippled.

Hey thanks. It was a part of our recruiting strategy. We looked for guys we thought would be active and do a lot through management to encourage it. It definitely makes the games even more fun.
