Truth is this.. this game is not that difficult and I've really never found it necessary to transfer my knowledge of the game or AI to beginners. I do share my knowledge with teammates, but not outsiders. This game is about strategy and builds, why in the hell should we all be buddies and share builds? This game is based on football and a few plays here and there can decide the outcome regardless of superior AI or builds. I would rather put the odds in my favor and have superior builds and AI (if possible). The object of playing this game is to win the league championship. Repeat, Object is to win the league.

Dony and I decided to join Pee Wee in Season 11. We did not even watch a sim until game 3 because I was on vacation. Our original plan was to build a few Super Slow Builds players because we thought the game was too expensive. We wanted a Pee Wee team just to see what advanced AI looked like. But....Dony had a buddy at work in our Copper League that was talking trash right before the season started.... so at the last minute we started recruiting WIN NOW players. We had zero idea of what we were doing until game 3. In 3/4 of a season, we watched sims and built a decent team considering our builds. The next season we built the Crabs based on that knowledge and had 1 of the best teams in Pee Wee. We won the official tournament and did not let anyone score on us the whole tournament ( passing nerf helped with that). So.. if you want to have a good team, watch sims of the best teams, take the time to learn the game and the AI. Builds are not that difficult.. 60 cap or 68 cap? remaining points to balance the build.

I've also never understood Level 10 test teams. If I have a test team I will boost and test my AI with Level 13 dots. Why? Because Gold champions are Level 13 teams and the difference between a Level 10 dot and Level 13 is night and day. Regular season does not matter to me, and how my Level 10 dots performs is absolutely irrelevant. Yes, Yes, I know it's expensive.. but you can also build a rookie or Cap 4 team (not boost) and restrict their development and have them mirror Gold level builds in 2 seasons. That's a better idea then a Level 10 test team.

This is how you disagree with an idea properly. You say you don't like it, then list the reasons why. There was no personal attack on me, just his opinion on why he thinks this idea isn't a good one, plain and simple. I respect a post like this, as does the rest of Gold.

In my line of work I get about 5-10 guys a week that come into my office and say something about like this:

"I was a VP for company X. I'd like to share my wealth of knowledge and experience with entrepreneurs, young business professionals, or graduate students. How can I help?"

Which really means this:

"I was a VP of a very small company of about 30 people because they promoted within and I got there early. I have since been fired/the company just sold/the company went bankrupt and I am now unemployed. I can't get another job unless I drop down to a low-mid level manager, so I'd rather try to capitalize on my trumped up job title and pad my resume a bit. Can you help me look like an expert and train people that are actually my peers?"

I don't know why I felt like sharing this all of a sudden.

My thoughts almost exactly.

I agree, that would be interesting. And way less work to game plan for!

Classic. I'm a director of restaurants for a growing restaurant chain and we get tons of people that worked in restaurants 10 years ago, got out of it because they wanted a "real job" that now is a dead market, and are crawling back and always try to convince me that "this is there passion!" and that they wouldn't leave at the drop of the hat if their former business picked back up again. Though I do feel bad when ivy league graduates are willing to accept jobs as a host because they can't find work. That's kind of depressing.

LOL ...isn't it bad enough that most of you have your hands in each others pockets already? ...not knowing rival teams' builds is the way that it should be! ...the last thing that I would like to see is a league of clones in gold ...I'm thankful to see the likes of RK and co spanking yas for sharing your build guides around to all these agents with their fingers in other gold cookie jars! ...it's a wake up call that most of the gold league has needed!

LOL ...I was wondering when you were gonna bring that up! ...thanks for waiting until my rant had cooled off! ...and he still has access to my AIs also! ...it is a gesture that I thought was appropriate at the time, which was about 6 seasons ago when I appointed him, which was just as a friendly gesture also! ...I know it seems like a contradiction on my behalf considering my rant about GMs having a title assigned to them, and it is still a gesture that I am comfortable with even though he does nothing for the team ...but stwcjj is the only guy in this game that I trust in all of my 13season involvement in this game and I know that he is an honourable person! ...my team is a lowly silver team that barely made the playoffs this season and I am not involved in any gold team in a coordinating role, or any other team in peewee apart for the LB that I made for your team last season, so it doesn't seem to be such a contradiction or a fair comparison for my mind ...and i think I deserve some allowance for that as I have always done the honourable thing over conflicts of interest up until now ...obviously, if my team was in gold this season, then I would have demoted him to GM
