I do too, but I might be biased. Plus we really have to see what changes are coming and how teams adapt to pretty significant roster changes.

It's about as even as you could make things, given the extent of knowledge that you (don't) have in the offseason.

Yeah, as long as the conferences are relatively even it's a'ok. Can't expect perfection, just hate seeing them so lopsided last season.

For the 6th straight season, Bort has made sure that the Roadgrader TEs don't play in the same conference. Thanks Bort!

Based on nibs rankings, Zeta is stronger. They have 4 more in the top 25 overall. Both leagues have 4 in the top 10, 2 in the top 5.

Overall though, its about as close as it is going to get

all but 2 are inside nibs top 40 in zeta
all but 4 are for alpha

As always, I'd advocate rating over ranking.

Alpha Average rating: .92550
Zeta Average rating: .94645

There's a nice gap under the .86 range as well, so:

Alpha teams over .86000 rating = 10
Zeta teams over .86000 rating = 13

Alpha top 8 cutoff = .88704 (9th = .88423, 10th=.86561) - could be 10 teams fighting for the top 8.
Zeta top 8 cutoff = .98367 (9th = .93547, 10th = .90840) - that's a good gap for the 8th to 9th.

Basically, if these were a predictor, then alpha will have a big fight for the last few playoff spots and 2 teams will be close but no cigar, while Zeta will have a sharp line at the top 8, but the next 5 teams could be in the competition for Alpha's last spot.
But, they're not a predictor, so anything could happen.

I give the conferences a big heart.

There is 1 SEAPL team in Alpha, and 3 in Zeta.,

Zeta > Alpha imo
