Odyssey has the highest SoS so far, I suppose though part of schedule is behind us and can finish the season 12-4!

You know, the greatest thing about the rookie season is that there is so much variety in how a team starts vs how they finish. That is why I use an evolving ranking system that re-evaluates all of the games played against every other game played and the quality of play. I could of course give more weight to the actual win/loss record but I have found in the past that come playoff time, it actually was far less accurate in determining how good teams were then using the actual statistical efficiency rankings like I do.

That being said, you did leap ahead of Odyssey this week and you should also keep in mind that a #7 ranked team doesn't mean that they will beat a #8 team 100% of the time. Just that they will beat them at least 50.000001% of the times. Just because you got the 49.99999% chunk of the game doesn't really make you better overall I can start including the "power ratings" as well if you like which gives a much more accurate numerical rating that shows how much better a team is compared to another.

We have an easy schedule in the rest of the season but BSS din't play anyone from top 4 in standings and the top teams are ahead (Uganda, UFC, Steelers), just see the difference in SoS!

Just a quick glance at the box score stats of you verses some other teams and I'd say that while you do have a fantastic defence (probably the best I've seen in a few ages for a rookie team), your offence is piss poor and worth less then dirt. That combined with your SoS is likely why you are not ranked as high as you should be. Fix up your offence and you will probably jump into the top 5 and could even earn a championship trophy because of your stellar defence. But as you are now, I'd be impressed if you made it past the 2nd round of the playoffs.
