Has it ever not been this? I remember so many times taking off a Gold game because winning the CC meant promotion. Guess it's been a while since those days, but it's difficult to care a lot about Gold I agree.

yeah it's hard to get up and do something for the gold game. just the way the system is. Gold is cool and all but after the 3 games in playoffs, it doesn't matter all that much.

The golden ticket is the real prize.

My care meter has been off for a year now.

Congrats to both Canton and TAP for promoting. Would have wrote something for today's game but let's face it, there's nothing to win or lose so it doesn't matter who wins.

personally i still believe in a championship in a pro league especially in a couple seasons when your team is no longer in the World League a gold pro trophy looks better than a silver one.
