Exactly. So as the OC/DC - then you need to setup a package and auto adjust and pray that it adjust accordingly. That doesn't sound like the type of sim we should be running.

You can literally get blown up on the OC flipping those two plays back and forth all day long. You cannot stop both of them effectively without exposing yourself to the other.

I really believe the repeat play penalty should be improved... But that is a DC talking.

Well you run the same defense over and over and over again...someone is bound to find a play that makes you think twice about it.

Not really. Unless you are cool with little success.

Some are very vanilla, but I personally have over 200 inputs and over 300 used outputs not just because it's nice to have different calls for every particular situation, but also because I enjoy watching what looks like a "real" game with different alignments for just about every snap.

But you still leave the WR Screen far more open than any other DC in the WL. To the point where I honestly just couldnt take it out of the gameplan yesterday.

But my comment was merely poking Tyranny's use of the RDE flat over and over and over again.

Don't let the facts get in the way of your excuses. Providence was middle of the pack against the WR screen based on what TV posted, and as repeatedly noted, I devoted at least two and up to four defenders to it in that game yesterday. It's true that I hate dropping the RDE into the flat because it's so absurdly unrealistic and I just don't like under or flat zones in general, but that shouldn't be the only way you can possibly defend a play.

Eh, it's not that bad. There are still a few absurd things, but the sim is looking more and more like a reasonable approximation of football.

fwiw, you can definitely stop that screen w/o RDE flat.

edit: not necessarily for a loss, but for a 2-3 yard gain...which imo isn't a big deal.

that's all that matters.

He won't spam a play but he'll spam the same posts at 100% output in the AI

All I can tell you is that the audible worked for other teams, and has for multiple seasons. In fact, when I first came up with that blitz in the preseason of S18, I sent it to Catch because I thought it worked too well, but he and Bort tested it out themselves and found no problems with it.

all from the same game. we've got audibles on. its obvious there is an exploit there in that the QB doesn't audible because the LB is too far from the LOS. there's a reason you can't create this play with the new dpc...

You might have them on now, but you clearly didn't have them on then. Plenty of other teams audibled against it.
