Does it really matter? All they did was boost so that they are now the same level as the rest of us..... they're not any higher rated than anyone else and they're in a huge hole.

And the rest of us have the kind of record that we can take to Lv 20+ free agents and get them to sign with us.

I don't know why they're talking so big, nobody is really scared.

Well I'm not sure the whole "wait to boost" strategy means as much now...the players don't acquire XP that much faster to make that much of a difference then it did the first two seasons...that that I've seen at least. I mean the difference has got to be maybe less than 100 XP from one to the other at this point.

If anything you need to boost earlier so you have every win opportunity you can get so that you insure you end up in the top 8.

Using Chicago as an example and what dufus has posted about the reasoning and just wanting to be in the Top 8...that's all fine...but at this point and looking at their schedule and trying to be reasonable I'm going to "guesstimate" they are going to end up with a 8-8 record...is that going to be good enough at this point to break into the top 8 at end of season? Because that seems awfully risky to, in essence, "spot" the other teams in the conference a couple games.

I'm not trying to throw dufus and his boys under the bus...but IMO the "boost later" strategy just isn't going to work at these player levels...not as dramatically as it did earlier seasons.

The biggest thing to us this year was doing everything we could to get in the Top 4 and make that playoff ticket money. There is no difference IMO between 5th and 8th seed. But making that Top 4 seed and getting the $$$ is huge.

I made a spreadsheet on it and the difference in the high teens is less than a level. I used a level 17 and two level 18's and the biggest difference was a little less than 800 exp.

A lot of my players haven't boosted yet either. I'm sure there are a bunch of teams that still have unboosted players.

That extra level isn't going to turn the tide against a good team.

There u are wrong my friend.

Take our first game Vs the sphere for example. In that game they all boosted and were levels 18 to 21. we were all 16's. If we boosted we would have been mostly all 19's. Now level wise we are the same as the sphere. we gain back the levels we lost to boosting earlt from last seasons

All my player picked up about a half a level and would have picked up more, I know this because I had players that boosted early. I can guarantee this as well, our builds are top notch and you are all fucked, get ready to talk small and say you are sorry.

How old are you? You sound like a 10 year old running your mouth like your a big boy now. Everything you've said is completely uneducated and unlikely. Your builds are obviously not top notch if you're in 12th place. We clearly are not "fucked" because we're already in playoff position at this point. Stop talkin big, you got nothin' to back it.

I have 2 players that boosted early and the rest haven't. The difference is less than 250 at this point. I'll be more than happy to post my spreadsheet if you'd like to do the same or you can keep talking out of your ass.

They were made one day apart. The OT boosted and the WR didn't. The exp difference between them is exactly 241 and we are almost at mid season.

I had a QB boost early level 17 and Dickenson do it my OT, both get Max PT, Dickenson is about 400-500 XP higher, and the level 14 that waited he is about 800 pts ahead of the ones that boosted.

Oh no! Not the matchup bars! We're totally "fucked I tell ya fucked"!

Please... shut your mouth untill your awesome tactic of boosting late actually pays off against an actual opponent. 'Till then, keep dreamin about holdin us to 25 yards and 4 sacks. Even if you manage to do that, I gaurantee we win that game. Have fun getting into the top 8 this season pal.

That explains it. You can't read. My original post said level 17 and two level 18's. If you're level 14 it doesn't matter what you do. You're going to be run over by the level 20's in this league regardless.
